It is my pleasure to invite you to experience this exciting, multi-ethnic fellowship in Del Paso Heights.Del Paso Church of God is a Sacramento church that has been touching the lives of individuals for over sixty years: and we know that our best is yet to come!God has blessed our congregation to embrace change over the years and it continues to be a valued community asset. I am pleased to lead such a great assembly of believers who are committed to touching the world for God, starting with North Sacramento. Many wonderful things are happening here, both in our congregation and the lives we have been privileged to touch so far.God is leading us on to new challenges in our area. We are taking bold, new steps proving that Jesus wants to make a difference in lives. We are gathered to perform a great work as representatives of the kingdom of God.I encourage you today to get in touch with the true source. Pastor Brown
Wilmer Brown, Jr., is the Senior Pastor of the Del Paso Church of God in Sacramento, where he has served for over 16 years. Wilmer moved to Sacramento in 1995 after 15 years as a manager in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. From 1998 through 2007, He served as Director of Family Services for the Mutual Assistance Network, a local Community Development and neighborhood capacity building Corporation. His educational background includes undergraduate studies at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University; graduate studies at National University and Bethel Theological Seminary. Wilmer is actively involved in the leadership of numerous civic and community organizations, including Teen Challenge, and serves on several non-profit boards in Northern California. Most recently Wilmer serves as the chairman of the Church of God Association of Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Hawaii. His wife and four children provide balance to his life.
